I’m experiencing the same issue as you. Upgraded to WP 2.9 and nothing. I’m using this across 5 or 6 WP sites, 2 different servers, and none of them are backing up correctly.
I have 3 sites with WordPress hosted on 2 servers. After upgrading to wp 2.9, wp-db-backup plugin not working correctly. No longer automatically saves database … lag far behind the date and time …
Yepp, It does not work anymore. Only manual backup is working.
There is also an older bug about changing the backup date/time still present.
Updates and bugfixing of this product seem to have stopped half a year ago…?
That is a pity, because it has been doing a good job until summer 2009.
Anyone has a proposal of an alternative plugin?
turns out it was a wordpress bug.. just upgrade to 2.9.1 and it should work.
After upgrading to WordPress 2.9.1, plugin wp-db-backup started working. I think it works correctly now.
