Am I breaking any rules? It seems my questions are the only ones not getting feedback…
Tried to use WP_User_Query() based on this page: http://goo.gl/C8Nzq with no luck.
Must of my writers are contributors and I still can’t figure out how to arrange them by last name.
Any help?

Sorry for the late reply … I’ve been on summer vacation and didn’t get an email notification of this for some reason.
Anyway … currently there’s no way to do this easily. But it’s a good feature idea and I’ll look at including this in the next release of the plugin.

Just to update you, the code to allow differing sort orders for the shortcode in wildcard mode is now in the v3.3 plugin source; you’ll be able to order by login name (the current behaviour), by login id, by first/last name name, by nickname and by display name.
The code for the next release is pretty much complete, I just need to finish the documentation updates and then I can push it out. I’m estimating this’ll be approx. 2 weeks from now.

v3.3 of WP Biographia is now out – there’s documention on this on the plugin’s main repository page as well as in the readme. I’ll get the home page for the plugin updated either tonight or tomorrow.
