[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] No hits counted since update

After updating to WP 3.0 and WordPress.com Stats Version 1.7.2 on June 16, the plugin isn’t showing any hits at all – despite Google Analytics showing the same stats as normal. I reinstalled the plugin, with no change. It’s been working fine for years, and I have made no changes to the theme.

Seems like some people are having the same issue. What’s going on?
