  • Hi

I am using the yoast plugin and in the google results is see for most of the pages the tagline as a description. I filled in unique meta description for each page. The text for these pages has been put in a three column layout editor instead of the normal html editor. So therefore yoast gives the following results: Your focus keyword was found in:
    Article Heading: No
    Page title: No
    Page URL: No
    Content: No
    Meta description: No

The snippet example shows the correct meta-description, what do i need to do to make sure google get the meta description instead of using the standard tagline of wp.
    Hope you can help

Google should be using the right meta, but it might take some time for it to index your site. Just because you’ve changed your meta, doesn’t mean, you will see the changes right away. It can take several weeks for Google to make the changes.
