[Plugin: Wordfence Security] Error while scanning

    I got an errore while clicking on “Scan” on the plugin:

    […]
    Jun 15 21:15:26] Found 9 themes
    [Jun 15 21:15:26] Reading theme information from each theme’s style.css file
    [Jun 15 21:15:26] Sending request to Wordfence servers to do main scan.
    [Jun 15 21:15:27] We could not fetch data from the API when calling ‘main_scan’: HTTP status 100 from server. Empty reply from server

    Any help?

    If you rescan do you get the same error? It may indicate that your WordPress system can’t connect to the outside world. Do other plugins that make outside connections like Akismet work?

    Akismet works just fine 🙂

    Can you try to connect to:

    http://noc1.wordfence.com/

    From your server? This is our scanning server. You should get an error about an invalid API key.

    Our systems are working fine, so I think it’s something on your server that is not able to connect to noc1.wordfence.com. If you can figure out what it is it would be helpful. I’m happy to make any modifications to Wordfence we need to, like configuring a proxy server, but I need to know what’s causing this on your end. Also check your error logs if you can.
