I just noticed, it is giving this at the top of the page:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/content/f/i/s/fishcove/html/dev/wp-content/plugins/wcp-openweather/wcp-openweather.php on line 31
Hi, sallen5280!
Pls, check Your PHP version. Minimum required PHP version is 5.3.0
How does one check their PHP version?
There are some ways for it.
At first you can check a settings of your server. Usually hosting provides ability to check and change the current PHP version.
If not, you can use this method:

It’s weird because I used the method you provided and it’s not working. It’s not being processed on the server. All it does is spit back the code that I entered.

sallen5280,
The most simple way to find information about PHP version is check it in the your hosting admin panel or send request to the hosting support – they must know what PHP version is used on your server.
