Nevermind. Just reinstalled the previous verison on my websites and all seems fine for now. Waiting for debugged update!
What errors are you having? No one can help if you don’t say WHAT is wrong.
Most people seem to be having cache re-write issues and CSS minification issues.
I’m getting a number of issues as well. The first one happens when I click the compatibility check button, makes it tough to read errors due to a lightbox issue (I think):
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSEIF in C:\wamp2\www\website\wp-content\plugins\w3-total-cache\inc\lightbox\self_test.phtml on line 245

This release then the suggested fix nuked my site twice. Fortunately for me I had some excellent help from Raymond at Arvixe who suggested the following and edited our .htaccess file. Our site is up but we uninstalled W3 Total Cache in any case.
.htaccess: Invalid command ‘core’, perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

Yep, both the first update and bug fix update have managed to break my site. Switching the plugin off seems to have fixed things.
When I logged into admin the site looked fine but when I logged out all the CSS styling was messed up – displaying only text and jpgs, no structure.
I was also getting various messages about page cache not working because I had to add some permissions code to the htaccess file.
Great plugin when working but very disappointed with this update.
Sorry for the trouble everyone. I hope later updates worked out better.
Frederick. Personally I am grateful for all that you’ve done for this plugin. Of the hundreds of plugins I use on various sites, I can’t think of a better plugin than W3 Total Cache. In fact, your plugin saved me more times than it has caused me issues (which were usually my fault)…especially when clients expect their new shiny WP website to run as fast as their old static website from the 90’s. Ha ha!
You’re a wizard at this stuff! Please, keep up the great work!
Thank you. Anyone else have open concerns here?
