[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] setting CDN expires header

I would like to encourage browser caching of static content that is hosted on a CDN (Amazon S3/Cloudfront).
Do I have to set headers in S3 using an externaltool like s3cmd? Or is there a way to do it with W3TC?
