[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Object cache: Huge disk space drain

    Hello,
    I’m using W3TC on my site and all works well except Object cache function.
    When I enable this function, server starts spend my disk space on server (like the garbage collector do not works well).

    In cPanel this space is categorized as Other Usage and we can not locate these garbage files. Please, can you help us and tell which and where W3TC creates cache files?

    Of course, obvious that is some bugs in Object cache module…

    If you are in fact cacheing the object data to the disk, I would assume that it is being stored here, “wp-content/w3tc/objectcache”.

    Are you on a shared hosting account? If not, you should try APC. I don’t think that object caching to the disk is really a great option. I haven’t tried it though, so don’t take my opinion as gospel though.

    I don’t recommend using object caching to disk unless you’ve tested it and it actually helps. W3TC is a framework, just because options exist doesn’t mean they are right for your situation. When 1.0 arrives it will be harder to make tuning mistakes, however for now, the installation instructions should be followed.
