[Plugin: Viper’s Video Quicktags] Poster Frame field

    It would be great if I could display a custom image, “poster frame”, which activates the video on click. I read in the forum this is possible with flv videos, but i’m not able to do this with youtube videos or vimeo. Could it be possible to have an additional field for poster frames in the embed dialogue?

    Unlikely the FLV player, you cannot just pass an image URL to YouTube’s Flash player and have it use it. You’d have to do some crazy placeholder image thing that when clicked, it replaced the image with the embed. That’s something I’m not interested in coding for my plugin. Sorry. 🙂
