[Plugin: Viper’s Video Quicktags] Intergrate with TinyMCEComments?

    Hey Viper,
    I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, great plugin!

    Is it possible to have the next version work with the TinyMCEComments plugin? I’d love to give my visitors the ability to embedded YouTube videos in their comments.

    The developer of TinyMCEComments talks briefly about mentions how to make plugins work with it here:

    Thanks! Oh and maybe make it so that videos aspect ratios are calculated automatically when setting manual dimensions on the New Post page.

    Sorry, I hate TinyMCE too much as it is. 🙂 Plus I’d have to implement videos in comments (a huge undertaking).

    With my plugin being rather deprecated once WordPress 2.9 comes out, I have little interest in putting a lot of effort into it.

    Hey Viper,
    Thanks for letting me know. I see from the Dev blog that your working on adding VVQ to the core! Great to hear!

    You did some great work on this plugin over the years. Your going to have to make a plugin that allows your users to convert all our old VVQ shortcodes to work with the new WP2.9 ones.

    Viper’s Video Quicktags will continue to work in WordPress 2.9, but yes, at some point I’ll be rewriting this plugin to make the old shortcodes use the new built-in API (which is a lot better). It’ll also allow you additional configuration not available in the core (say like controlling the YouTube embed color for example).
