• Hello,

First of all, thank you for making this nice plugin.

Everything works great for me but I have a serious issue for which I need support.

When I reply to a user, the e-mail shows as sender “WordPress” and the email from which my message is sent is wordpress@example.com Moreover, the about section states “Feedback”.

How can I customise these three things?

It is important for my website because it is based on WordPress, but it does not look like WordPress and I do not want my users to see that it is actually WordPress.

Thank you very much in advance!

Thanks for feedback. Your question is in FAQ actually… 🙂 In two words – it is a generic WordPress issue, just use great WP Mail SMTP plugin to resolve it.

    Hi,

Thank you for the fast response. Unfortunately I got the same error as most other users get:

SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

I spoke to my host provider and they told me that shared hosting does not support SMTP.

Do you have any other suggestion of how I can make things work.

Thank you once again for the great support.

You have to set SMTP up right to get it to work. In other words, you need to have an email account with SMTP host name and probably login/password. Otherwise it will not work – that is how email system works.
