[Plugin: User Community] Dissapearing Settings

Hi,

I had the user community plugin set up on a test server and installed the Using Capabilities plugin, worked for a while and when I rechecked was having problems, unistalled the capabilites plugin and now the community plugins settings area is no longer showing in the dashboard but the profiles page is functioning fine. any suggestions as to if this is normal? I love this plugin but need to be sure of it working before going live.

Well, the plugin is having more than 100 downloads per day this week, after last update. And nobody reported this. I have it working in several sites, and works fine for me.

If you’re been using the Capability Manager or some similar plugin, perhaps you have removed the capabilities that allow you to manage the settings ?

Sorry didn’t realize that was an option but you’re right. Looking forward to using these plugins.
