Plugin upgrade problem

I am trying to upgrade my plugins, but keep getting this error message

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2143027 bytes) in /home2/thewhyof/public_html/wp-includes/http.php on line 1363

What is the problem and how can I fix it!?!
