Where exactly did you get that message? That is not anything that our plugin outputs to my knowledge. It sounds like maybe the WP plugin directory itself returned that to you..??

Also, how exactly is the site down? Are you getting an error when loading it or what is happening?

When I went to my website this morning it told me that there was an update available for the PayPal for WooCommerce plugin.

I updated it and then I got that message.

Since then the website is up but there is a message at the top of my pages that says “An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now”.

I tried that but the message remains no matter how many times I try the link.

Not sure what is going on.

Yeah that’s very odd. I haven’t had that complaint from anybody else and I’ve been able to update my own sites without any issue.

Did anything change on your server that could be blocking the WP update directory for some reason?

You could download it directly and update it manually.

I’ll give that a try and see if that resolves the problem.

It shows that the current version is Version 1.1.6.3.3

I assume that is the correct version?

Yes, that is the current version that was just released.

Were you able to get everything worked out here?

We just released another small update, so you’ll want to make sure and grab it, too.

I have not heard back from you, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. Let me know if you continue to have troubles, though, and I’ll be happy to help. Thanks!
