After updating the plugin the cookie bar got the inert attribute this makes it impossible to click the accept settings or other buttons.

    Hi @cbfbl

    Thanks for using our plugins.

We can’t replicate the issue. Could you share your website URL so that we can check?

In the meantime, you can test the plugin on our site (uses the latest version):

    https://www.mooveagency.com/

    Hope this helps.

    Hello @janeaustin ,

We’re having the same problem here as user @cbfbl.

The banner has the class ‘interactivity: inert’, and it’s impossible to accept or reject cookies.

We’ve checked the settings and tried replacing the banner with the floating button, but that didn’t work either.

    The URL is http://www.maquetasatrium.es

    Thanks

    Hi @sedmikrasky @cbfbl

    This is fixed.

Can you please update the free plugin to the latest version 5.0.16 and purge the caches on your sites?

    Thanks

    Hi, @janeaustin

In our case, even after updating and clearing the server and browser caches, it still isn’t working. In our case, we’ve had to deactivate several plugins.

    Thanks anyway

We have a similar issue, we cannot save any options and we have this on 2 x websites where we use your plugin.

We have reverted to version 5.0.12 and it works.

The error we got previously was:

[03-Jul-2026 12:02:23 UTC] WordPress database error Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes for query CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS xfZN0NB_gdpr_cc_options(
