Plugin Update 2.5 refused on PHP 8.2.33

    I’m unable to update Really Simple Captcha due to incompatibility with my version of PHP which is 8.2.33

    Message appears as:

    There is a new version of Really Simple CAPTCHA available, but it does not work with your version of PHP. View version 2.5 details or learn more about updating PHP.

    Siteground.com is using 8.2.33 as latest stable version of PHP. No launch date for 8.3 beta.

    Because Really Simple CAPTCHA 2.5 requires PHP 8.3 or higher.

    Contact SiteGround support for upgrading PHP.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I was relying on Siteground to update PHP automatically to whatever they consider the most up to date “stable” version. That is currently 8.2.33. I assume they are rather cautious about such an update as it impacts a lot of websites.

    I have now updated “manually” to 8.3 and your plugin updated successfully. Thank you.
