plugin unable to update/purge Open Graph tags

Hi I’m having a bunch of problems with my Open Graph tags
for all post types. When I try to purge the open graph data for a post by updating it (using the open graph plugin) I get the following error message above the “Post updated. View post” message:

“Error: Facebook Open Graph Tags cache NOT updated/purged.”

Below that it lists the “graph.facebook.com” URL for that post which failed.

I have also tried to “fetch new scrape information” using the Facebook debugging tool but it gives me this error message:

“Critical Errors That Must Be Fixed: Could Not Connect To Server – Check that the webserver is running, and that there are no firewalls blocking Facebook’s crawlers.”

It also sometimes gives me this error message:

“Error parsing input URL, no data was cached, or no data was scraped.”

Does this mean that Facebook cannot connect to MY server (Web Synthesis) or that the Facebook debugging tool (or my open graph plugin) couldn’t connect to the Facebook server? What is the problem here???

All new posts and most old posts from my website are not loading ANY information when trying to post them to Facebook. No title, no image, no nothing. It just puts the URL in the title and description and doesn’t load an image. This is a huge problem! Please help me resolve this ASAP.

I am also noticing that each page on my site is taking 3 times longer to load because it’s waiting on the Facebook Like Box in the sidebar to load. It never takes this long. It is also taking 4-5 times longer to load the post information (which doesn’t load at all) when trying to share the post to Facebook.

I have tried contacting my domain provider, Go Daddy, and they said there doesn’t appear to be any issues with the DNS. I have also tried contacting my server (Web Synthesis) and they can’t figure out what the problem is.

Do you think it could be a problem with Facebook’s servers? Should I try to contact them to get this resolved? Should I just try to wait it out? What do you recommend?
