[Plugin: Twitter Tools] Message not getting to twitter

Been having an odd issue the last few days. Using twitter tools with the bit.ly and google analytics tagger plugins active. For the most part it’s been working just fine but the last few posts that I’ve checked the yes to send to twitter, the bit.ly link gets correctly created but the tweet never gets sent.

Auth isn’t an issue as the side bar is updating correctly and most setting regarding prefixs are stock standard. Log checks don’t seem to be pointing to anything obvious – getting to the point where I might start doing a traffic dump during the next post to see if anything is actually getting there. Any debugging ideas?
