[Plugin: ThickBox Content] Can embed in table?

I need to embed ThickBox content in a table (a conference agenda, where the links would open to speaker bios). When I try, what displays in the ThickBox is the entire site as though I had embedded its URL, not the text content I highlighted. The HTML, when compared to another site where ThickBox works properly without being in a table, is identical. I’ve tried including the <div> content within the table, and below it, and neither works. How do I embed text content in a ThickBox when the link sits in a table?
