@zachmattheus,
How far have you got through the installation steps?
If you’ve installed the plugin and got the widget showing you have got quite a way in. What exactly are your issues about getting it to work?
I have it installed. I have the widget there. But there’s no field for somebody to sign up.
All it says is: “You may manage your subscription options from your profile.”
@zachmattheus,
Just log out and you’ll see the form, if you are logged in the plugin treats you as a registered user and gives you a link to your subscription management page instead of the form.
Nope. Just has “your email”. No field or anything else…
@zachmattheus,
Where did you get the Widget from? Is it the built in one or are you using another plugin?
@zachmattheus,
Ah-ha. Go to your Widgets page in WordPress and open up the Subscribe2 widget. In there you will see a section that says “Div class name:” and in the text box below it will say ‘search’ for you.
Remove that word (search) and save the Widget, log out and have another look. I think you’ll find you can see the form now as it’s no longer hidden by your theme.
Still nothing… I can change the title though… still lost.
@zachmattheus,
The form is still wrapped in that same class.
- Log in to WordPress
- Go to Appearence->Widgets
- Find the Subscribe2 Widget and open up the settings by clicking on it
- Find the section that says “Div class name:” (if it isn’t there you are not using my Widget, so get rid of this one and enable mine in Subscribe2->Settings)
- Remove the word ‘search’ under that heading
@zachmattheus,
Are you using some form of caching plugin? The same class is still showing on the front page so the only possible explanation for this is that your site is being served from cached files.
