[Resolved] [Plugin: Slick Contact Forms] Function set_magic_quotes_runtime() is deprecated

  • I get the following error when the plugin is installed on my local host.

Deprecated: Function set_magic_quotes_runtime() is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\wordpress-3.2.1\wordpress\wp-settings.php on line 32
    Call Stack
    # Time Memory Function Location
    1 0.0021 471624 {main}( ) ..\slick_mail.php:0
    2 0.0031 485440 require_once( ‘C:\wamp\www\wordpress-3.2.1\wordpress\wp-config.php’ ) ..\slick_mail.php:3
    3 0.0043 585640 require_once( ‘C:\wamp\www\wordpress-3.2.1\wordpress\wp-settings.php’ ) ..\wp-config.php:90

What should I do to fix this? Can I do anything?

  • This isnt actually a plugin error. Do you have debugging enabled or error reporting on? It’s specific to php 5.3 and an E_STRICT message that you should only see if you’ve explicitly set the error reporting level

I’m gonna check that today. I will let you know later. Thanks man.

You were right. I tried it on an external host and it worked fine. I remember now setting the error reporting a while ago. Didn’t think that would effect it. Thanks a ton!

You can comment out line 32 in C:\wamp\www\wordpress-3.2.1\wordpress\wp-settings.php and that will stop the error.

I have used a component of wordpress to integrate the wordpress in my joomla site

After installing wp-symposium plugin, I am getting a fatal error like this

Fatal error: Class ‘JConfig’ not found in D:\wamp\www\jword\components\com_wordpress\wp\wp-config.php on line 24

I tried to check every possiblities to reolve this..
    But unable to resolve..

    If anybody can help…???
