[Plugin: Seo Facebook Comments]

My site had been running great using jetpack to Facebook share automatically and wp seo by Toast for open graph and see functions like the Facebook featured image.

The other day I had decided to try forgoing our regular Facebook comments plugin for Seo Facebook comments since it said that it can automatically import comments from our Facebook fan Page.

On activation, it immediately stated that it would have open graph conflicts with wp Seo by Yoast and it recommended turning off the open graph settings in Seo yoast if I was going to keep it. Just to see if it worked, I deactivated the option for open graph in the fb comment pligin settings and tried a sample post. The comment section didn’t even appear and it also didn’t share a featured image so I deactivated and uninstalled Seo fb comments.

I reactivated my open graph settings on Seo yoast and it wasn’t adding open graph tags at all anymore. And none would be added unless I have Seo fb comments installed and activated and it does the open graph writing whether the option is checked on the plugin options or not.

It seems as if Seo Facebook Comments overwrote my Yoast Seo Open Graph properties and won’t unwrite whatever happened even when deactivated and/or uninstalled.

Any help manually finding and removing whatever j m this awful plugin had inserted into my site would be greatly appreciated. This has literally ruined our productivity.
