• Hi Chris, thank you in advance for your time.

I am not able to find any backend settings for Secure Invites in my /wp-admin.

I just installed/activated the plugin for the first time.
    -Secure Invites 1.0.6
    -Wordpress 2.9.2
    -Buddypress 1.2.3 (default theme)
    -Chrome 5.0.375.126 for Mac 10.5.8 (Safari 5.0.1, Firefox 3.6.8)

In the /wp-admin view source I get this error when searching for ‘secure’:
<!-- Secure Invites: User cannot send invites because the site registration option is not set to "all" or "user" -->

    1) It would help to know where I should be looking for the settings panel.
    2) If I am unable to resolve this can I control the plugin from secure_invite.php?

    Thanks again,
    Tyler

    Possibly conflicting plugin: s2Member 3.1

It overrides two WordPress General Settings:
    -Anyone Can Register = [0]
-Default Role = [a proprietary membership level]

I already tried deactivating/uninstalling s2Member and changing the aforementioned WordPress General Settings. There was no change in Secure Invites. Still got the same error in the source.

I also tried downgrading to Secure Invites 0.8.5. No change. However the source error was gone. Guessing you hadn’t implemented it yet 😉
