• Resolved Bristol CI

    Hi there,

    I just updated the s2member plugin on my site which caused a fatal error and prevented me from accessing the WordPress panel.
    Fortunately my HostGator support were able to deactivate the plugin so that i was able to access my WordPress panel again.

    I then deleted the plugin and then re-installed it. Unfortunately as soon as I activated it again the same error message came up and I lost access to WordPress. I now have access once more (HostGator came to the rescue again!) and the plugin is deactivated.

    I really use this plugin so would appreciate any help for resolving this problem.

    The error message I got is “Fatal error: Cannot break/continue 1 level in /home/saskia/public_html/contactdance.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/s2member/includes/classes/no-cache.inc.php(156) : eval()’d code on line 1”

    The s2member version is 111002

    Hi everyone,

    I don’t know if this bears any help or not, but mine was working fine right up until I installed a plugin called inline uploader. It was from the point I activated it that everything went hay wire! I ran the following update script on the mysql back end UPDATE wp_options SET Option_value = ” WHERE Option_Name = ‘active_plugins’, and then activated each plugin one at a time until I found the culprit. I was very scared until I had discovered this, hopes this help folks.

    Kind regards,

    Miles

    Error message:
    Fatal error: Cannot break/continue 1 level in /home/content/k/w/a/kwakefield/html/wp-content/plugins/s2member/includes/classes/no-cache.inc.php(156) : eval()’d code on line 1

    I deleted the no-cache.inc.php file using the file manager on my host server. So, I was able to get back into my WordPress admin. But, I still get error messages as long as S2 is activated. So, for time being, I deactivated S2. Obviously, I still need the code fixed in the update so I can use my site. PLS HELP S2!!!!!

    Hi,

    You may resolve this error by upgrade s2member version to new one : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/s2member/changelog

    Thanks,

    Kevin
