[Plugin: RVSPmaker] Language support & dev idea

    Hi!

    I’m looking into translating RSVPMaker, but I’ve found the language folder empty (not even the en_EN lang file was there)… Given the directory my guess is that the translation framework will be implemented sometime in the future… until then what can I do? “Hard code” the language?

    Also, on a side note, when I add a recurring event I’d like to see an option for “every” day (every monday/tuesday/…) in the regular schedule part.

    For reasons I don’t understand, svn apparently wasn’t uploading the files in the translations directory. I just put out an update (look for v 1.8) that should have those files.

    It’s quite possible I don’t have it set up correctly, but I tried to follow the instructions on the WordPress site for creating a catalog file with POEdit. If you can help me get it into a usable state, I’ll be happy. Got a flurry of interest in translations when this first came out, then nothing (maybe because those files weren’t being distributed properly?)

    Does anyone succeed in translating this plugin?

    I have followed this tutorial but my translation did not show up in WP.

    The permission is set correctly (at least it’s set to the same as the rest of the files – 644 owner is www-data) and I have translated some strings already that should show up in either the WP settings oron the event page itself.

    Any hint on where I should look?
