• Hi,

I’m looking for this plugin to do two things:

    1. A grid-style layout for the participants list. Specifically, a template that allows me to specify the number of columns and rows (for example 4 x 3) and allows me to define which data fields appear for the records. An example of what I’m looking for can be seen at http://go.dyc.edu/pt-staff.
    2. For the “approved” field to revert to NO whenever someone submits an update to their record. In other words, we want to re-approve an entry whenever a user submits an update. I tried to mess around with adding a separate hidden or read-only field to the signup/edit form but results were klugy at best.

Google didn’t reveal much for either of these desires. If anyone is aware of specific instructions or third-party add-ons for these features, please let me know!

Thanks for any help/advice for these requests.

A grid layout is possible, it will take some work with the CSS to get it to look the way you want. If you start with the “responsive” template for the list display, you can use some CSS rules to have it lay out as a grid.

I’m in the process of creating a tutorial that provides the basic tools for setting something like this up, although it will certainly require a good understanding of CSS and HTML to get the specific results you want.

For your second question, this is also possible, it will require a simple filter. I’ve published a gist that shows how this can be done:
