    Hello,

I have been in months with developers and my hosting about an issue that when I activate or deactivate plugins, a random set of plugins deactivate without any information regarding that.

What makes it worst is that the issue does not appear on stagings, but only if you have a staging that is connected to Cloudflare and the same domain name (i.e. “live”).

Upon a full day of checking, I can confirm with 1000% certainty it is this plugin that is causing the issue.

Incredibly frustrating but very thankful I was able to find it. Please can you fix this bug for other users.

    Will

    Hey, @willgreeny

This isn’t a common issue with LoginPress. We’ve extensively tested the plugin on numerous sites, including those hosted on Cloudflare, across both production and staging environments, and haven’t encountered or received reports of similar behavior before.

Since your case appears to be unique, we’d like to gather more information to better understand and replicate the issue on our end. Could you please share:

    • The list of plugins that are being deactivated.
    • Any specific steps or scenarios where this issue consistently occurs.
    • Additional details which good to be shared, or any error logs you might have.

Your input will help us investigate further. We’re committed to resolving this for you and ensuring LoginPress works seamlessly in your setup. You can send the information to our support forum.

    Thank you.

    Hi Abdul,

To be clear I am no longer using the plugin as the site is mission critical. However, for your future debugging:

    • Any plugin activating or deactivating would cause others to randomly activate or deactivate
    • There are no error logs at all – no trace of plugins deactivating
    • As soon as your plugin was deactivated, the issue disappeared.

While we couldn’t replicate this behavior during our testing, we’ll thoroughly review our codebase to ensure compatibility and prevent such occurrences.

Thank you for sharing the details and for letting us know about the issue.
