[Plugin: Quotes Collection] Make Quotes Searchable?

I want to be able to allow the reader to search and display quotes by the following:
author
tag
keyword(s) (contained in quote)

Combination of the three.

I assume it is writing a few queries with an input form if one knows what one is doing?
