[Plugin: Quick Shop] Has anyone gotten this to work?

Seems like everything installed nicely, but there is absolutely no support available, but tons of ‘hints’ for donations to support this unworthy plugin. The reason I say ‘unworthy’ is because there is no support available to get the darn thing integrated. If there was at least some general instruction, that would be nice. It’s pretty self explanatory for the setup, but the last version says it is integrated with TinyMCE, but there’s no button to be found anywhere, and the short code doesn’t work either.

So not worth the extra time to find out if it even works, much less sending money for a plugin that doesn’t work out of the box. Why would anyone be dumb enough to pay for support for something that doesn’t seem to work anyway? (sorry, just tired of wasting time on half-completed plugins). Nice concept, but wasted my time.

Yeah, same problem here. No TinyMCE and short codes don’t work.

It does seem a little frustrating initially but the plugin works very well once you get it running. We have even modified it to add a header that displays the number of purchases in your shopping cart. If anyone is interested we will be happy to post a tutorial on this.

Quick Shop Plugins Rules!! This is what i need. I have tried many promising shopping cart plugins specially the famous WP-commerce but Quick Shop is the winner for me! Just simple, No complicate plugin just setting add product to product page and press TinyMice button. WOW!! wHere have i been for so long.. thanks i will donate.

Well, here’s my solution- can’t promise its the right answer.

In the quickshop_class.php file, I commented out the following line:
```
public
	$pluginPath
	;
```
I haven’t had any issues with errors after that and was able to activate the plugin.

It’s right at the top, approx. the 4th line down, just after the quickShop class opens up. Hopefully that helps a few people out 🙂

The tinyMCE icon does not show up when posting in HTML mode, only in Visual mode. This might be obvious, but it took me some time to find out.

Well, I guess this is another Worthless Store Plugin that doesn;t work. I tried YAK and same multiple issues with that. And really bad documentation on how to setup.
