[Plugin – Polylang] Too Many Redirects Error on Zerif Lite Theme

    I have been working on my website and have recently added the Polylang plugin for multilingual capability. I have been using a Zerif Lite child theme.

    Here is a picture of my Polylang url settings.

    Everything else, I believe, is set to the default settings.

    The problem is, when I go to the url of any page on the website, except the static front page, it results in a “Too Many Redirects Error.”

    Please tell me if you know the source of this problem or you need any additional information

    I had the same problem

    My wordpress adress and site adress where the same and I installed polylang, as it added the language “/en/” in all urls it also created a website example.com/en, which was basically a list of posts…

    My fix was in Settings – General
    Wordpress Address URL http://example.com/en
    Site address URL http://example.com

    Now your Home or Front page has a URL as the TITLE, I changed the SLUG with Quick Edit to “index” and that was it

    Sry, in my polylang setting I have selected
    The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id
    Example: http://example.com/en/ instead of http://example.com/en/index/

    you can also try selecting and unselecting that option
