• Hello,
I’m trying to use the handy sidebar widget, but for some reason, when I input the URL and save the widget, the changes don’t “stick”. I go back in, and all fields are empty.

  • This may be the case if you’re using Internet Explorer. I could not really reproduce the error. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes not (on IE). In Firefox, everything is fine to me.

Any thoughts on a work around?

    Using Firefox should help. 😉

I’m not that familiar to WordPress’ widget code that I could solve it on my own. I’ll ask for some help in the forums… please be patient. 🙂

*If only we could convince everyone to use FF instead! LOL

Do text widget, RSS widget etc. work?

    Unfortunately, not for me. :/

The following should “help” IE7 users to add a multi-widget:
    – add the widget
    – save
    – edit the widget
    – save

So don’t edit before saving… works for me.
