[Plugin: pb-embedFlash] Framework conflicts (Theme/Plugin)

    Hi Pascal,
    I would like to thank you for this super plugin, it’s exactly what I’m looking for to launch my flv video’s in a nice way.

    I only stumbled upon problems in IE (7.0). It looks like it’s conflicting with my theme which is also (i think) using Jquery in the tabs on the sidebar and below at ‘latest videos’
    In FireFox everything is looking fine and works like a charm.

    If I enable pb-embedflash, my tabs on the sidebar don’t work and ‘The latest videos’ gets stuck.
    I already tinkered with the theme, which is using <script type=”text/javascript” to call it up I think. I’m not quite sure where the problem lies.

    If Pascal or anyone can help me out with the IE drama that’d be great.

    jQuery is loaded twice. Once by Flashnews (with his own version) and a second time from the wp-includes directory (maybe by pb-embedFlash). Please try if disabling “Load JavaScript framework with Shadowbox? (Choose “No” if another plugin already loads it.)” in Settings/pb-embedFlash->Shadowbox & Popup solves the problem.

    There MAY be issues with Shadowbox if the version of jQuery loaded by Flashnews is too old.

    Ah ok, yes I already tried that with the same results.
    Flashnews is calling jquery-1.2.6.min.js to ensure it’s not old and I’m getting the same problems with it.

    I was checking out the wp_enqueue_script tag to ensure that jQuery is not loaded twice, but with my limited knowledge I have no idea where to begin 😛

    Hmmm I spent days on twinkering with my theme and the inc. functions file trying out many things.

    It seems that the theme doesn’t like any .js file to be loaded.
    I’m giving wp_enqueue another try in incorporating it…
    Right now I’m just disabling the sidebar and footer on certain posts (with pb-embedFlash material on it) , so it at least doesn’t conflict.
