  • Anyone know any plugins that has its own admin menu (same level as Dashboard, Write, etc)? Also *all* the plugin files are dropped into plugin folder only, not in wp-admin also.

I need to check on something, so the longer list the better. Thnx.

  • Check out my wp-lists plugin. You can add a menu to the top level of the admin menu bar very easily. I had done it previously but then decided Manage -> Lists was more appropriate.

Unfortunately, edit-lists.php is dropped into /wp-admin/. Not sure if that can help you.

Adding files to wp-admin folder is highly not suggested. It could make upgrade process more complicated as the custom files (non-wp core) are not grouped.

BAStats (it loads it’s link beside the Dashboard tab, not the very top menu…not sure if that’s what you want or not)
