Hi @techlector. I have been in touch with the IRP team for over 4 months now. Their plugin totally sanitizes the text and doesn’t let the shortcode render.
I am sorry but until any update comes from their end, I cannot add support for IRP yet.
Meanwhile, you can use Contextual Related Posts or Jetpack’s Related posts as an alternative.

Great. Let me know if you face any other issues. As a blogger myself I understand how a plugin can be better than the other, but we are bound by some limitations.
