I’m sorry to hear that.
What version of this plugin are you using and can you provide a link where I can leave some test comments?
We’re using 1.5.1. Please check out coloradopols.com, where the plugin is activated right now but not working post-4.3. Thanks.
Can you please revert to https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simple-comment-editing.1.3.3.zip and see if you still cannot edit?
If you can’t, then it may very well possibly be a conflict with another plugin.
Reverting to that older version worked! At least for now, continuing to test.
Okay, stick with that version for now until I can investigate what’s wrong with the current version and 4.3.
Thanks!
Thanks for the support. It’s a good plugin that users appreciate.
I’m unable to activate 1.5.1 on 4.3 (Fatal error)
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in (removed)/htdocs/blog/wp-content/plugins/simple-comment-editing/index.php on line 386
1.3.3 works.
Thanks for looking into this!
@vadim,
I just released version 1.5.3 which should fix that parse error.
@arcturusmengsk,
What PHP version are you running your server? If it was less than 5.3, please try SCE 1.5.3 and see if that fixes it.
Ronald, thanks! 1.5.3 fixes my issue, indeed.
Vadim
Nope, we’re running PHP 5.4. Should I update?
No, still not sure what’s going on in your case 🙁
Just a quick note to say the latest update likely did not fix your issue. Still trying to duplicate it.
ArcturusMengsk,
Afraid I can’t duplicate your issue without some custom dev work. If you’re happy with your current version, by all means stay with it.
You are welcome to hire me to troubleshoot, but I’m pretty booked right now.
ArcturusMengsk,
Would you be open to a Google Hangout so I can try to fix your issue?
