I’m having the same issue. Everything was working great until yesterday and now the plugin stalls and I can’t change between current roles to change settings. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but it didn’t help the issue. Before it started stalling, the plugin was great.
I’ve resolved my issue by turning off all my other plugins. Once the Advanced Access Manager was the only plugin running it began working again. I turned on plugins one at a time until AAM stopped working. My culprit is a plugin for a custom dashboard.
It might be worthwhile to turn off all your other plugins and see if any might be conflicting with AAM.

Okay so I deactivated everything, and the basic version at least isn’t grayed out. I can’t however, upgrade to the premium I purchased. I wanted to make sure that worked before I started to activate things. If I need to do something in particular let me know.
Thank you for the help. It is appreciated

I again am still trying to get the premium version (which I paid for) activated again. I have all the plugins deactivated, and have tried to enter my code. I am told it updates successfully however, I am still stuck at basic. I need this to launch my site. I am not getting anywhere here and I am frustrated.
Please advise on how to fix this.
thank you
Lori
You shouldn’t have bothered paying for the premium version and I would recommend doing a charge back on it for a faulty product. He provides no support, even if you pay and the plugin itself is garbage.
You’re better off stripping this out and finding something else to use. We’ve successfully transitioned to Admin Menu Editor Pro, but AAM royally screwed multiple installations and we’re still trying to make repairs to get this crap out. I hope you haven’t gotten to far in playing with AAM otherwise you may just have to start from scratch with a new WP installation.

How very interesting, I have noticed there is absolutely no support and have absolutely noticed issues, however I am so new that I would not successfully be able to know if any particular plugin is a specific cause or not. However, now that you explained the issue I am thinking that this plugin has indeed done this to my site. ironically I just activated it a few moments ago, have not worked on the setting. I will definitely pull it out of my site. I will look into Admin Menu editor pro. it doesn’t sound familiar so I don’t think it was one i researched or tried. I would ask if you can block images you load into your library. As this is important and I have not found too many plugins that successfully do this.
thank you again I appreciate it.

Hi guys,
My apology for your pure support. And I promise that things are going to change after I release version 2.0. Currently I’m developing it from scratch. New UI better functionality.
triplemoons you are my favorite critic. I hope you’ll take a look into it after I release it.
The beta release is scheduled for the end of November. I’ll keep you guys updated.
