    according the the instructions this plugin works right out of the box. as per instructions I installed, activated and checked the “anyone can register” box in my general settings. what else am I missing?

    Hi @playingthetrade,

    It seems you are using the ‘WP User Manager’ plugin for user registration and it is automatically logging the users into the site after registration.

    For ‘New User approve to work properly with ‘WP User Manager’ you will have to disable the auto-login functionality of ‘WP User Manager.

    Unfortunately, this cannot be achieved from our end, you will have to contact ‘WP User Manager’ support for a way to disable the auto-login functionality.

    Hello,
    I am not using ‘WP User Manager’ plugin and I have the same issue: anyone can go directly to my site without registration.
