[Plugin: NextGEN] No longer able to upload images after upgrading to 1.8.3

    After upgrading from NextGEN version 1.7.4 to version 1.8.3 I can no longer upload new images to existing galleries. The image files are being uploaded to the server (as verified via FTP), but no thumbnails are created and the images do not display in the Gallery interface. Upon trying to upload images, the message reads “0 picture(s) successfully added”.

    Images that existed in the gallery before still show properly on the website. Updating the permalink structure has not helped and I cannot seem to downgrade to version 1.7.4, as the database table structure has changed.

    Kindly advise.
