[Plugin NextGen Gallery] using monoslideshow as widget

    I re-post as i didn’t write the right tag on topic title…

    I would like to replace NG ‘basic’ slideshow with Monoslideshow on the sidebar, i’m using your ng slideshow widget but how can i switch to the mono ?

    I tried to chek the option ‘Replace default slideshow’ in Monoslideshow options, no result…

    Alex, do you have a tip for me ? or anyone who did it ?

    i finally found some way to do it on that website : http://digwp.com/2010/03/shortcodes-in-widgets/

    here is the ‘simple solution’ :

    – first : add that line to the functions.php file :

    add_filter(‘widget_text’, ‘do_shortcode’);

    – then, use the ‘Text’ widget + write [ monoslideshow id=x etc. ]

    worked perfectly for me 😉
