I am getting the same problem with next generation gallery, I upload the picture and its fine they get uploaded and but the thumbnails are not created, not even in the folder now after doing alot of research i found that this is due to php memory usage if so this is my memory details :
PHP Version : 5.2.14 / 32Bit OS
Memory limit : 40 MByte
Memory usage : 23.75 MByte
now if memory was the problem then i shouldnt be having any problem. my host gives my php memory limit to 40 only since its a shared host.

after rebooting the server again, thumbnail creation is workling again. seems to be realy a problem with the memory limit, because according to the log the memory limit has been reached regulary.
how do i reboot the server ????
I had the same problem undill I resized the pictures. I had them to big at first but after a resize all went well 😉
To clearify a bit I resized before I uploaded… sorry.
Seems I spoke too soon. What i now get is a blank screen when I upload pictures, even when they are uploaded at a small size and only 1 of the images is added to the gallery. How did you go about fixing this Zero9cool?
Seems the last few days I have had nothing but problems with NextGen -.-
Thanx and regards
