    You’d need to update the css.

    For example on my site to remove the border around my album thumbnails I’d use .ngg-album { border: none; ) and for my gallery thumbnails .ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box { border: none; }.

    This works on my site where i use the album template=extend and gallery template=caption shortcodes.
