• I have two websites in which I use NextGen gallery, using Version 2.0.66 on one installation and the most recent one on the other. On both sites, whenever I click “manage galleries”, the page starts reloading over and over before finally ending up on a URI too large error.

After activating and de-activating themes I found the problem is being caused only when a certain other plugin is activated, MeanMenu, a responsive/mobile menu pro jquery plugin.

    This is the plugin
The original jquery plugin files are here.

After doing some reading online and browsing through the support forums here I found a line I should add to the wp-config file to prevent detecting conflicts, but it made no difference.

I have also contacted the creators of the MeanMenu plugin to try and figure this out, as I need both plugins to play nice together, but I am not sure what else to try in order to resolve this, and I need to resolve it soon as my clients need their sites up and running.

    Thank you!

A quick update on it: I heard back from the MeanMenu plugin creators and they said they have both plugins running together in other websites without problems. However, that’s the only combination of plugins in which this error occurs. But even if there’s another way to just avoid conflict detection, that would be helpful (in addition to the wp-config edit which doesn’t work).
