When I enlarge a thumbnail I no longer have the left and right arrows on the enlargement.
Please be explicit, provide detail about what you mean, are attempting.

If you click on a thumnail it displays the large image. Should I not be able to then arrow from image to image. And click on the image to go back to the thumnails. But non of that works anymore.
Try using a more modern version of google jquery.

I have installed the jquery plugin to ensure I have the latest but nothing changes. Is there a plug that NextGen relies on that I may have deleted. Or a setting I may have upset.

NextGen works fine for me without/with other plugins. My thought was you were forcing use of old code with 1.5. jquery from google.
