Hmm, it seems something is broken with your page and/or plugins. The slideshow page produces quite a few errors:

http://www.filmmakersdream.com/travel/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/css/nggallery.css
http://www.filmmakersdream.com/travel/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/thickbox/thickbox-pack.js?ver=3.1.1
http://www.filmmakersdream.com/travel/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/thickbox/thickbox.css
http://www.filmmakersdream.com/travel/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.2.3
The main page doesn’t recognize the nggallery.css either
Have you deactivated and activated the plugin? Have you tried “Highslide” (“Thickbox” and “Lighbox” cause occasionally problems in my blog, too, “Highslide always seems to work for me)?
Ok. I got the gallery working. The only issue that I have now is that when we click on the slideshow link, from the homepage – http://www.filmmakersdream.net/travel , the slideshow doesn’t show up, but if we go to the actual entry page, = http://www.filmmakersdream.net/travel/?p=44 the slideshow link will work. Do you know how I could fix this issue? In fact, I don’t really want the slideshow link. So, is it possible for me to remove the slideshow link? How can I do that? Thank you for you help!
I got the slideshow link working, but when the slideshow is presented, the images are not uploading. I’m just seeing a black box with a flash circle thing. Do you know what it could be?
I would still like to know if it’s possible for me to remove the slideshow link from the gallery?
Thank you!
Looks fine here – both slideshows and galleries! Slideshows are working fine. Still you can deactivate the slideshows easil, everyting is built-in the plugin options:
Got to
Gallery -> Options -> Gallery (Settings)
Uncheck “Integrate slideshow” and make sure, the next option (“Show first”) is on “thumbnails”. That’s it.
