[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Image Description in Carousel template

I’m using the Nextgen Gallery plugin and I’m using this to call the gallery[nggallery id=1 template=carousel images=4]

I like the way everything works however I’d like to display the image description above or below the thumbnails. Is this possible and if so how can I get it done?

Also do you know if it’s possible to add the Prev/Next Navigation with the image number/counter? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
