    That’s a good point, I would like to make this easier to do, especially since the admin half of this is already taken care of with the slide post titles.

    The only reason it’s not built in is that I’m trying to keep the slideshows really minimalist, by default there is no navigation or anything, just the slide images straight up. Of course I could have the captions off by default, but then I’d have to add another option to the settings page, which is also pretty minimalist.

    I do have a new alignment option coming in 1.5.1, which is the most common customization, and one I wanted users to be able to do without custom CSS. But I’m not adding an option in the settings, the alignment can be set using metadata, captions could be handled the same way.
