Support » Plugin: Members » [Plugin: Members] No capability for managing THIS plugin's settings?

  • I plan to use this in a MultiSite setup, and it looks like I can use this plugin to remove the abilities to edit roles and capabilities from my Site Admins. However, I can’t seem to figure out how to remove access to Members settings page, where the Widgets and Private Site options are available.

    Am I missing something? Seems like this plugin, of all plugins, would have that be possible 😉

  • I need similar kind of features. The settings should only be managed by super admins, when it is activated Network wide.

    There is no other plugin that offers “Adding new role”, “control capabilities” features

    Does any one have idea to how to implement these?

    Unsure how it was set to Resolved, but I set it back.

    Looks like vbk100 is trying to do exactly what I’m doing: only let Network Admins control these settings – Site Admins should not be able to muck with anything about this plugin, imo. I’d think this plugin would contain its own capability for that.


    Did you try changing the capability to access “plugin settings” page? I have changed it to “manage_network” from “manage_options” . But it is still showing up to ‘Site Administrators’

    I think that I am missing something here

    It seems, there is a bug on Network panel. I hope it can be used once it is fixed
