Hi,

I’ve installed the plugin and am using the API key from my mailchimp account however I keep getting a “Uh-oh, we were unable to verify your API Key. Please check them and try again! The server said:Invalid Mailchimp API Key” error.

The site is http://www.cornerstoneofsheridan.org/wp (wordpress). Host = GoDaddy.

Hey there, John!

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble getting the API Key to validate. Generally, when that’s an issue and the full API key is getting copied (including the us#), it has to do with the host blocking certain ports. Your best bet would be to get in touch with your host to ensure that there aren’t any outbound calls being killed off. We’ve seen this issue before, here:
