Just installed the plugin. When I view the events list, it says I have 64 events, but I actually only have entered 1 test event. These are NOT in my database either, so I cannot delete them anywhere. Where are these coming from?

Have you perhaps tested another events plugin and those custom post types might still be there?

Also, what PHP version are you using?

    Btw, love your avatar! 😀

Aha- thanks. You are correct! I had tried MEC Calendar and Tribe Events, and I now have more than one “event” post type apparently. Would re-deleting those old plugins fix this, or would it be better to completely remove the post type and reinstall EM?

    Thanks for the super-ultra-fast support!!
    This plugin rocks!

To be clear, I am not part of the EM support team. “Just” an enthusiastic user as well. 🙂

Most developers do not clean up after uninstall. Lots of things like posts, metadata, saved options are left, cluttering the database. 🙁

I would suggest giving Advanced Database Cleaner a try. First uninstall EM, then run the cleaner and install EM again.

Sorry for the assumption. Your efforts as “just” an enthusiastic user are greatly appreciated! I use Advanced Database Cleaner a lot anyway, so I’ll give that a try. Thanks for your help!

That’s more than okay. It’s just that I’m helping out a lot here and I agreed with the official team that it should be known, I do not work for them. 🙂 That’s all 😀

This is a bit different a situation but I installed EM and the demo events EM automatically posted aren’t deleting or moving to trash when I try to do this action. It says they’ve been moved to trash. But they still appear on the list.
Any ideas how I can remove them? Thanks.
